    A great number of people of this town have provided service for the common good of this County, which has been granted to everyone to enjoy the fruits of their hard work, is now getting smaller in recent times with the death of honest men. This sad news requires us to report on the death of a man who was widely known as a good-hearted, selfless citizen of our County. Mr. Georg Carl August Zschetzsche from the Town Sheboygan, who had recently after feeling unwell at struggling with diabetes decide to leave this dear life.
    He who passed away was born on 17 May 1824 in Ichtershausen, during the time of the duchy of Gotha, and was married on December 27, 1849, then came to America in 1852.
    From that time on he has always lived here and devoted himself to agriculture; however he learned Saddlery in Germany. His happy marriage produced 13 children, nine of whom are still found alive, 5 sons and 4 daughters.
    Who would have thought that death would succumb to him, when he went about his usual life and still shopped in this city on Tuesday last week!
    He had several voluntary offices of residency chosen for him, which he managed with the utmost conscientiousness. We know that he will unforgettably remain with all who came in contact with him. This morning at 9 o’clock the deceased will be buried in the Wildwood Cemetery;
    The funeral will be led by Pastor Watermülder --The immortalized rest in peace.
